h-bar tutoring

Tony Roy is from Cleveland, Ohio and attended college at The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, he tutored other college students in physics, math, and engineering topics while earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. It was during his master thesis on robotics that he discovered his love of research. He decided to further his studies by obtaining a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Caltech. After earning his doctorate, he worked for the startup incubator Idealab. Since then, he's been pursuing his own entrepreneurial ventures building on his patent-pending GeckTeck material technology. 

Throughout his life, Tony has had a wide range of interests. He feels equally comfortable behind a chessboard as he does on a rugby field. One constant, however, has been the joy he finds in teaching others. He truly believes that knowledge is one of the best gifts there is and always finds a way to share this gift with others.
