Math / Science Tutor and Mentor

Sandia is from Ellicott City, Maryland, and she is currently a senior at Caltech studying Applied and Computational Math and Economics. While at Caltech, she has tutored fellow students in various subjects including math and physics. In addition, Sandia has worked as a teaching assistant for a freshman biology class, helping students develop their interests related to biology into a workable research proposal. Her enjoyment of teaching stems from the time she spent helping her younger brother and sister in their science and math classes and she is excited to get the chance to share her knowledge with other students! In her spare time, Sandia loves running, hiking and traveling new places.
